So, through the first 45 minutes of the Sharks game, the Sharks were awful. Down 4-1, they came back with 3 goals in 4 minutes in the 3rd. Then in OT, it appeared they had lost. But wait...
Oh, that did not cross the goal-line before time ran out! Sorry, Flyers. On to the shootout, where the Sharks won! Hooray! This was the first time in franchise history that the Sharks had come back to win after being down by 3 goals in the third period. Epic!
Meanwhile, the Lakers were on the road in L.A., facing the Clippers. The Lakers decided to make the Sharks' early effort look like hard work. Lazy play, bad shooting, etc. You know, regular season Lakers basketball. But you're not gonna lose to the Clippers, right? Nah...Derek Fisher to the rescue!
Turns out Derek Fisher is a lefty! Brutal way for Eric Bledsoe to find that out, as Fisher just beat the buzzer with this floating layup winner! Lakers win! Epic!
After all hope seemed lost, the Sharks and the Lakers both came back from the abyss of defeat and snatched themselves some epic victory!

One of these things is not like the other... :-P
You're right. The Sharks are not a Championship contender like the Lakers are!
