The Title Defense Begins Tonight!

The hunt for the three-peat, and the 17th NBA Championship, begins tonight.  This banner is not complete yet...

Tonight we celebrate, one last time, the 16th NBA Championship in Lakers history, and then we move on.  The Lakers will yet again be defending the NBA Title.  Phil Jackson will yet again be trying to win 3 Championships in a row.  Kobe Bryant will yet again be focused on one thing, and one thing only.  Let's do this!
