So, I hate Detroit. Actually, most hockey fans hate Detroit. Be it their numerous Stanley Cups, or their arrogant fans, Detroit is easy to hate. They are the Yankees of the NHL.
That being said, they terrify me. The Sharks have never matched up well against Detroit. And this season, we won once in four trys against them...in the shootout. That's not exactly confidence-inspiring.
Anyways, if the Sharks can get by Detroit, well, they'll prove a lot to both me, and their haters in the national media. It'll take the Sharks playing on top of their game for the entire series, with no lapses. They can do it, but we're going to be in for a long, tense ride.
BRING IT ON, DETROIT! GO SHARKS!
