THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!

The Sharks finally looked like the #1 Seed tonight, pasting the Avs 5-0.

I am not in that picture, but I was at the Tank, and it was hopping all night! The Sharks scored lots of goals. 3 of the 5 came from rookies. Dwight Helminen had a sick goal off of a Scott Nichol shot/pass off the boards. And Logan Couture had two goals, one on a tip in front of the net, and one off a rebound into an open net. He was happy.

Marleau finally scored a goal on a late 3rd period power play. The backbreaker goal was from Pavelski again. Pavelski is amazing. He fired a power play goal into an open net after Anderson fell over. Oops!

This gave the Sharks a 2-0 lead...the first lead of more than 1 goal by either team in the series. And it showed the Sharks were here to dominate tonight. The Sharks have a chance to close out the series in Denver on Saturday, now. Hopefully they will keep the good play up and get it done, so they can get a few days rest before round 2.

GO SHARKS!
